Sometimes it just takes a little extra shove to help one make a decision…

Fox is still feeling down after his near brush with heartfelt admonitions. Given that his choice seems to be proximity to action or participation in action, it’s probably the better choice, no?

I had… Ok, I probably had too much fun drawing this one, but I don’t really get to show the relationships around Fox very much and I worry sometimes that they appear only as foils for him. I don’t have the room for long bouts of quiet joy in each others company, nor do I have the room for drawn out conversations of subtle passion that have nothing to do with Fox or jokes…

Or maybe I just think too much about characters that nobody else really bothers about.

In terms of drawing I think my favorite panel on this one was panel four, though the tail-twining was particularly fun in three. I’ve been trying to stick to four panels, but these six panel comics are better sometimes to give the extra “beat” and time for the joke to stand. I hope it worked here.
