This one is real simple, even a bit of copy-paste going on. Still, I think it gets the joke across well.
I used, what I suppose is a over-used manga cliche, but I think it works. I think the expressions in panel four really sell it.
I’ve been thinking about color pallet, but with a 4-6 hour run on the comics as it stands, I don’t know if I can work in texturing as well.
Oh, on another note: As per a friends suggestion (Thanks NekoChan!) I’m trying to pay more attention to the word-bubble placement when drawing the actual panels. Does it show?
I think the speech bubbles are a big improvement! :3 For one, I didn’t even notice them. Which.. I mean as a compliment. If I’m just reading it instead of fighting to understand HOW I’m supposed to read it, then.. yay win! 😀
